All proceeds go to SHEF’s Classroom Grants Fund, which has awarded $305,100 to fund 223 innovative grants in the arts, literacy, character development, math and science and more than $400,000 to implement technology in all district schools and classrooms.

Our Mission

The Somerset Hills Education Foundation’s (SHEF) mission is to promote and provide education opportunities through innovative programs and projects for the benefit of the students of The Somerset Hills School District.

Our Goals

• Encouraging excellence by fostering creative learning and teaching – providing capital for creative ideas and programs as well as supporting the professional growth of our educators.

• Facilitating our students development — providing funds for learning activities that supplement and complement the basic education program, supplying equipment and facilities for innovative programming not funded through other means.

• Developing school, community, business partnerships – promoting community awareness of educational challenges and solutions; developing innovative programs for our students while providing a vehicle for individuals, businesses, organizations to share resources with the our school district.
